Duo bookings: two Amsterdam companions, one well-matched evening
Amsterdam was built on pairings: merchant and captain, canal and bridge, three crosses standing side by side on the flag. A duo booking follows the same logic. Two companions who share interests join you for the evening, and the easy rapport between them makes the whole occasion livelier, funnier and more relaxed than company for one.
It suits a celebratory dinner, a night out where you want the table full, or simply an evening when good conversation should come from more than one direction. Everything stays elegant and discreet. A duo is arranged on request, and we put it in writing on WhatsApp as soon as both companions have said yes; our rates page explains how longer arrangements are priced.

Why two companions change the evening
With one companion, the conversation is a duet. With two, it becomes a table. They bounce stories off each other, bring different interests and fill the natural pauses of a long dinner without effort. For anyone who finds the first minutes of a meeting a little awkward, a duo is simply more comfortable: there is always someone laughing, always someone asking a question, and the evening finds its rhythm much faster.

Pairs built on shared interests
We suggest pairings where the interests genuinely overlap, and we always check that both companions are happy to work together. Stacy and Tiffany share a passion for street photography, so an evening with them could easily include a pause on a bridge for the perfect shot of the canal lights. Stacy is bold and spontaneous, Tiffany graceful and playful, a combination that works as well at a cocktail bar as at dinner.
Nora and Tina both love fashion design and are warm, confident company, ideal for a stylish evening around the Nine Streets. Milena and Angelika share a love of tennis and a glamorous, self-assured presence; both are tall, and walking into a restaurant with them is an entrance. Stacy, Tiffany and Tina are all among our brunette companions.

What a duo evening can look like
Duos work beautifully out in the city. Start with drinks on a rooftop or in a hotel bar, move on to dinner at a large table in De Pijp or along the canals of Amsterdam Centrum, then finish somewhere with music. A duo can also stay in, with room service and a long, lively evening at your hotel. Whatever the plan, share it when you book, so both companions arrive dressed for the same occasion.
Before you book
- Dinner for three at a restaurant with space to talk.
- Cocktails and live music, then a late walk over the bridges.
- A relaxed hotel evening with room service and conversation.

A pair for the city's big nights
Some dates on the Amsterdam calendar practically ask for a bigger table. On King's Day the whole city dresses in orange and the canals fill with boats and music. In winter the Light Festival hangs artworks over the water and the canal ring turns into an open-air gallery. Evenings like these are loud, crowded and joyful, and a duo keeps the fun in step: one companion can hold the table while the other finds the way through the crowd. Ask early, because these are the nights everyone wants.

Planning a duo booking
A duo takes more coordination than a single booking, because two schedules have to line up. Message us with the date, the time, the setting and the pair you have in mind, or one name and a request for a good match. We check with both companions, confirm availability and send the complete arrangement in writing. Allow extra notice, especially at weekends, and read the booking page if this is your first time with us.

Keeping it elegant
Two companions at one table naturally draw a little more attention than one, so discretion comes down to choosing the right setting. Larger restaurants, hotel bars and busy neighbourhoods make a group of three look like exactly what it appears to be: friends out for the evening. Both companions follow your lead on introductions and keep every detail private. If anything about the plan changes during the evening, message us and we will confirm the new arrangement with both of them.
08 Questions
Duo bookings, answered
01Can I pick the pair myself?
You can suggest any pair, and we will check that both are free and happy to work together. If not, we propose an alternative that suits the evening.
02How is a duo priced?
Every duo gets its own quote, on request, sent in writing on WhatsApp before anything is fixed. The general starting point for our companions is from €180 per hour.
03Is a duo suitable for a dinner?
Very much so. A table for three is a lovely way to spend a duo evening, and restaurants in the centre handle it easily.
04How much notice does a duo need?
Give us more time than for one companion, because two diaries need to line up. A day ahead is ideal, though a same-evening duo is sometimes possible.
